tattoo removal REMOVAL PROCESS

The tattoo removal process involves a series of treatments that target the tattoo ink and break it down into smaller particles.

The laser emits high-intensity light pulses that penetrate the skin and target the tattoo ink. The light energy from the laser is absorbed by the tattoo ink particles, which causes them to break down into smaller pieces.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROCESS:

CONSULTATION

During your free consultation, an Error Ink tattoo removal specialist will evaluate your tattoo and discuss the treatment plan and expectations.

PREPARATION

The tattooed area is cleaned and numbed with our anaesthetic.

TREATMENT

Our Super Picosecond laser is directed towards the tattoo, delivering light energy to the ink particles. The number of pulses depends on the size and complexity of the tattoo.

AFTERCARE

The treated area may be red and swollen after the treatment, and an ice pack may be applied to reduce swelling. You will be given aftercare instructions to minimise the risk of infection and speed up the healing process.

FOLLOW-UP

Multiple treatments are typically required to fully remove the tattoo, with appointments spaced out every six to eight weeks. The number of treatments required can vary based on factors such as the depth of the ink, the ink's colour, and the location of the tattoo.
